
a. Is continuation of U.S. Army Corps of Engineer office at the confluence of the Snake & Clearwater Rivers the highest and best use?
b. Should potential new big box expansion be allowed to occur just anywhere in the planning to area or should consideration of the waterfront limit where a new large store might be located?
c. Should a new Waterfront plan call for preserving a corridor for recreation and access at the water's edge and approximately 200 feet from the shoreline (conceptually a continuation of the greenbelt going west from its current conclusion at Granite Lake Park)?
d. Planning for a corridor of "experiential" manufacturing that would create jobs and be appealing to tourists (i.e., aid in the goal of making this a tourist destination)?
e. How should the plan address potential new lodging facilities (possibly a boutique hotel)?
f. How should the plan address residential housing near the waterfront?
g. Is there a need to identify design standards in the waterfront area for buildings of all uses?
f. Shall there be a strong initiative identified to get non-water dependent businesses off the waterfront?
